SMART FEEDING SYSTEMS for Gräbener Medal Presses

Martin Stahlschmidt is Managing Director of GRÄBENER. He studied Mechanical Engineer and International Management and has 20 years experience in the Minting Industry.

The presentation focuses on the latest improvements in the production process of collector coins. Technologically advanced and artistically beautiful. High-relief coins with decorative techniques like ruthenium plating, gold plating, selective gilding, antique finish, selective oxidizing, selective copper plating, digital printing and decorative stones.

Mr. Siemowit Kalukiewicz joined the Mint of Poland in 2004 as the Manager of the Production Organization in the Technical Department.

From November 2013 to June 2014, he held the position of the Production Director, whereas in 2014 he was appointed the Chief Operating Officer – a person responsible for all operating activities in the production area. Mr Kalukiewicz holds a diploma in Organization of Production of the Warsaw University of Technology, where, for three years, he pursued his PhD in the same field, additionally working as a lecturer and a production organization consultant in manufacturing companies.

After his time at  Schuler Pressen Markus joined Sack & Kiesselbach in July 2013. With today more than 20 years experience in different areas of press manufacturing, engineering & sales he is well-known in the mint industry.

He started as Director Sales & Service at S&K and his main task was until 2016 setting up a new modern product and marketing platform. He was responsible for the new Sack & Kiesselbach medal press TMA-350.

In 2016 he became Proxy at S&K and since April 2020 Markus Schlein is Managing Director.

Latest Innovation implemented in coin packing and coin traceability

During this presentation, two main topics will be highlighted : The new VELEC Rolls Shrink Pack line now permits to reduce to its very minimum the plastics consumption while maximizing its throughput and performance.

The well recognized VELEC Line Supervision exit the Mint’s walls to give access to the Central Bank to the product traceability.

With a mechanical degree, a business school, and an MBA, Loïc Pollet has spent the last 20 years around the globe, establishing B to B partner relationship. In 2011, he took over VELEC Systems, a company specialized in high speed counting and packing solution, dedicated for food and minting industries. Strong of a dynamic and innovative team of mechanical and automation engineers, VELEC Systems develops and builds custom solutions from material handling to fully automatic counting and packing lines.

With a mechanical engineer degree, David Carton has started to work in the R&D department of Howden, company dedicated to heavy duty fans. In 2013, he joined VELEC Systems as project manager, a company specialized in high speed counting and packing solution, dedicated for food and minting industries. After 3 years he became Sales director and is now leading a team of 5 sales engineers for local and international clients.
