Technical Forum

The discussions among experts of mints that operate internationally and their partners from the supplying industry are the focus of the Technical Forum of the World Money Fair 2018.
The leading conference for modern minting technology worldwide, attended by over 400 experts this year, focuses on new developments in coin making, specific production processes, technical procedures and latest product solutions.

What stays the same, what is new?

What stays the same is the high quality of the presentations. Only innovations or new developments will be presented, no re-hashes or mere marketing hype as so often in other presentation formats. We are proud that Dieter Merkle and Thomas Hogenkamp have succeeded yet again in including only high quality in the programme. A heart-felt thank you to the both of them. A first glimpse at the provisional status is possible here.

Everything evolves and hence our forum now has traces of a congress about it. The newly developed forum book contains a wealth of information about the speakers, contents, the presenting companies and the audience. Participants who have signed up by 12 January will find themselves in it. A reference book for the whole year.

New is that immediately after the Technical Forum we will be opening the exhibition area of the technical presenters exclusively and solely for the registered participants. The relaxed atmosphere of the traditional get-together provides an opportunity to deepen and discuss impressions and questions from the forum directly at the exhibition stands.

We have willingly taken on this great effort but would appreciate it being appreciated. Nothing has changed for exhibitors. From all the others we must now ask for a contribution to the costs of EUR 380.00 plus VAT. We are sure that you will appreciate the need for this and look forward to your registration.
